CONSERVATION STATUS:
- Vulnerable.
CULTIVATION:
- Semi shade to full sun.
- Does well with regular watering and good drainage.
- Tolerant of light frost.
PROPAGATION:
- Grow relatively fast and is easily propagated from seeds and suckers.
NATURAL HABITAT:
- Eastern Cape Province in various habitat from coastal bush to grassveld from the Bushman’s River to the southern border of KwaZulu Natal.
STEM:
- Arborescent erect stem attains a length of up to 7 meters and diameter of 25 – 50 cm.
