CONSERVATION STATUS:
- Endangered.
CULTIVATION:
- Semi shade to full sun.
- Does well with regular watering and good drainage.
PROPAGATION:
- Readily produces suckers and grow well from seedlings as well.
NATURAL HABITAT:
- Eastern Cape Province.
- Restricted to the Alexandria district on sandy dunes.
STEM:
- Aerial, unbranched and erect but longer trunks, often become decumbent. Stems can attain a length of 3 meters with a diameter of 20 cm – 40 cm.
